Researching Microbiology at the Water Research Conference

Microbiology is one of the major scientific disciplines contributing to the field of water research. This conference, 11-14 April 2010 in the Marriot Lisbon Hotel, Portugal, will provide a platform for exchange and interaction between microbiological research and its application; the provision of clean water to society.
The conference addresses two major topics: shifting paradigms in the assessment of recreational water quality and microbial ecology of drinking water and waste water treatment processes.
Oral and poster abstracts are now invited on the above topics and should be submitted using the online abstract submission system. The conference aims to attract the latest research papers as well as critical review or visionary type of papers on the conference topics. Abstract submission deadline: 15 November 2009.
The 2010 Water Research Conference is supported by Elsevier’s Water Research Journal in conjunction with the International Water Association (IWA), The International Society for Microbial Ecology, PAL, Federation of European Microbiological Societies and Working with Water.
